Mystery and romantic suspense writer Jeanette Cooper lives in North Florida near the Suwannee River, made famous by Steven Foster's song, "The Old Folks at Home", with her wonderful collection of books, her big back yard and beautiful old oak trees, and the ever present comfort of family near by.
Writing was always a passion for Jeanette from her teenage years, but not until she retired from teaching elementary school did she find the time to become a serious writer of fiction. Her first book, Wall of Color, which was inspired by one of her biracial pupils, lit the fire that just couldn't be put out. She has written and published ten books, including a book of poetry, and is preparing her next book for publication--while always in the back of her mind is an idea for a forthcoming novel.
